Allison E. Inman resides in Arizona with her husband, Michael, an engineer, their daughter, Virginia, four cats and an assortment of fish. Inspired by her personal experiences, Ms. Inman wrote
I Don’t Understand to reassure those children who at times may find their environment confusing. This delightful book can also be used by parents and teachers to initiate discussions with their own children and students.

The illustrations are reprints of original watercolors painted by the author.
